To integrate Comprehend PT with AthenaHealth:
- Open your note in Athena One as you normally would.
- Activate the Chrome Extension and click the Plus (+) Icon — this pulls in the patient’s name and detects the EMR note type automatically.
- Click “Record” and conduct your visit as usual — the AI will capture everything discussed.
- When finished, click “Stop” — your session audio is uploaded and transcribed in under 15 seconds.
- Click “Comprehend” to auto-fill sections like:
- HPI (History of Present Illness)
- ROS (Review of Systems)
- PE (Physical Exam) (if applicable)
- The system intelligently determines which sections can be completed based on your session content.
- Review your note and make adjustments as needed — your documentation is now faster and smarter.
